We have a complex systemic issue in our country with veteran homelessness + mental health issue (such as PTSD). There is a shortage of affordable housing, incomes and health care for those who return.

We also have a soft spot for animals. Approximately 1.5 million animals are euthanized each year. Kate has worked with this shelter in the past with fostering and food donations.
